Der oberösterreichische Förster Viktor Schauberger (1885-1958) gilt heute als Pionier der modernen Wasserforschung und der ganzheitlichen Naturbeobachtung. Schon in der ersten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts warnte er eindringlich vor den Folgen eines ungebremsten Raubbaus an der Umwelt. Als Ausweg propagierte er ein radikales Umdenken und die Entwicklung völlig neuer Energiegewinnungskonzepte im Einklang mit der Natur. Schauberger formulierte sein „k & k-Prinzip“: man müsse die Natur erst kapieren und dann solle man sie kopieren.

Zu den Umsetzungsversuchen und Erfindungen zählen Apparaturen zur Trinkwasser-Veredelung, Spiralrohre zur reibungsmindernden Leitung von Wasser, naturgerechte Flussregulierungen sowie die Energiegewinnung aus Wasser und Luft nach dem Sogprinzip und durch Einwirbelung.Für diese hochinteressante Dokumentation hat der Filmemacher Franz Fitzke über 7 Jahre hinweg Filmmaterial zu Schauberger-Themen gesammelt sowie neu gedreht. So werden auf der DVD auch einige Ungewissheiten bezüglich des USA-Aufenthaltes von Viktor Schauberger entschleiert.

Schauberger war vor 50 Jahren nach Texas aufgebrochen, um nach der dortigen Arbeit mit seinen Forschungen zu sehen. Schauberger kam enttäuscht zurück und starb 5 Tage nach seiner Rückkehr. Auch das Rätsel um den Verbleib der letzten erhaltenen „Repulsine“ klärt der Film auf.
